To enable Action Wall Ties to ameliorate our client’s masonry defects have over many years developed specialized drilling techniques involving the design and manufacturer of drilling jigs to facilitate precision controlled drilling in almost any location into almost any substrate adopting the most suitable drilling method (including rotary, impact and wet and dry diamond drilling) to accommodate the proposed remediation.
Specialized cutting
AWT recognised that the ability to introduce remedial expansion joints was a necessary part of our repair strategies and set about facilitating this requirement.
AWT carried out comprehensive testing and developed equipment and methods to facilitate the cutting of remedial expansion joints. By adopting Hydraulic powered twin bladed diamond disc and diamond chain saws all with special guides AWT are able to cut straight, wide parallel joints into existing brickwork (up to 325mm thick) in one pass to form expansion or crack-inducement joints.
